Beauty of Life

I am am going to spin a tail for you. Jay had been bagging his sister for the past month to take him there. He had wanted to go so bad. Finally she caved and they started the day going to there aunt's for breakfast and quick visit. It would take a few hours to drive to the parking lot and from the parking lot it was still a 15 minute walk to the bridge. So they wanted to leave by 10. Luckily for them there aunt was a morning person and had breakfast ready at 8. So Jay had to groggily get his lazy butt out of bed at 6 just so that they could get there on time. Jay being from Saskatoon was amazed at the size of Vancouver. In Saskatoon he could probably drive anywhere in the city within a half hour to an hour. They were in the car on there way to the aunt's house by 6:30. They didn't arrive till 7:45 and there aunt's house was closer to the parking lot by an hour. They had a great meal with Bratswhirched a favourite dish for all the kids. After breakfast Jay asked his Uncle to show him a little on the Violin. They stayed for maybe an hour after breakfast and left by 9:30. There was a little discomfort in the car and Jay started to argue a little with his brothers. Something he when he was bored. It made him feel a little superior because he could easily out wit them. Aside from that he always felt inferior to them because Mike was the oldest son and getting married. He was going to be the first in the family and Dan well he was the youngest child so he was treated as the baby by everyone. To say the least everyone was happy to get out of the car when they finally got to the parking lot by 11:30. By the end of the 15 minute walk they had all forgotten what had taken place in the cart and were racing up and down the dirt paths to the bridge. On the bridge Jay and Mike just had to swing it. It's a just must on suspension bridges. Not to mention it freaks out girls especially sisters because they can yell and scream at you. On the other side of the bridge they were back to running up and down the paths they found some intriguing trees on had a bucket top and Jay was first to to climb the tree and get in the bucket was large enough for him to sit in and have only his shoulders up showing. Mike and Dan were next on the tree to join Jay and they took a picture. There was on tree had branches with green but the inside was hollow as if rotted out. the inside was large enough for two people to stand inside. Jay crept inside skeptical of the structural soundness of this hollow tree. Not to mention Jay did not like spiders at all and knew that there was bound to be huge webs in there. Upon entering Jay forgot all his worries of spiders and collapsing trees, his jaw just dropped. The inside was a green glow as the sun filtered into a hole through the top that was covered by green leaves. the sight was astounding. Jay stood there for a few minutes soaking in the beauty that God had created. He sighed. This beauty reminded him of someone he knew back home. Not that they knew it but he did and he put that image in the back of his mind as a treasured painting. He looked up and realised the rest were all ahead of him and he raced to catch up taking a quick short cut off the path something he liked to do because he could easily maneuver his way through the brush and it was more fun jumping over logs and balancing over creeks than sticking to the manned path. They soon got down to the rocky beach right near the falls. The water was beautiful here and they waded in it for a while soon they wanted to explore the other side of the river because they saw a path. So Jay along with Mike and Dan went and skirted the rock edges near the falls and found a nice little rock island. They found out it was a a dead end and went back they then saw a good place to try and wad to the other side and Jay went first he almost fell but found his ground and decided it was a too much risk to try there. Dan however figured he could go and not fall so he tried and as predicted by Jay fell Jay and Mike just laughed at him for a while. Eventually Jay went in to help him out and fell on his butt near the shore. It look like he wet himself. Mike decided he would try a different approach and went to the edge of this huge rock on the edge the slippery place and tried to see how deep it was. He had hope that he would wade out from there avoiding the incidents we had. But while looking over the edge he lost his sun glasses. And couldn't reach them from on top the rock so he too braved the algae cover span and did not avoid falling in although not to the extent of Dan be worse than Jay. In the end the three boys got wet they never reached the other side and Mike lost his sunglasses. They decided to pack up and leave because there were all a little hungry and the boys especially Dan were wet and cold. But they all agreed that it was a good day.
